Supplier Quality Engineer

Jupiter Bach is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer,  ready to work for an international company.

Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for quality of partnership with the supplier, qualification of suppliers and parts, developing and optimizing the quality systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement APQP4Wind in supply chain for critical suppliers with steel suppliers
• Participate in qualification of suppliers and supplier QHSE audits
• Coordinate qualification of parts incl. PPAP for steel and other strategic suppliers
• Coordinate supplier NCR’s incl. verifications and approval of root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D report) for steel and other strategic suppliers
• Work directly with the suppliers to develop improvement plans related e.g. to APQP4Wind incl. PPAP, NCR handling incl. root cause analysis (8D problem-solving) and FMEA
• Develop a quality suppler scorecard for selected strategic suppliers

Specific and personal skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience as SQE in a relevant industry e.g. wind or automotive
• Experienced with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and preferable with APQP4Wind, High knowhow related to PPAP (production part approval process) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analyses)
• Familiar with NCR handling preferable 8D problem solving
• Solid experience with steel suppliers, Knowledge of ISO9001 and preferable also ISO45001 and ISO14001
• Understating of health & safety and environmental practices
• Negotiation skills, problem solving skills, self-driven, proactive attitude
• Fluent in English verbal and written
