We are searching for a Global Category Manager/Project Manager for a position based in the HQ of Jupiter Bach.
With direct reference to the Director, Global Procurement and Logistics, you will have the overall responsibility for strategic, tactical and project-related sourcing activities on a global and regional basis.
The position is situated in Jupiter Bach’s headquarters in Køge, and travelling to the manufacturing sites in China, USA, Lithuania, Spain and Poland as well as supplier visits globally must be expected. You will be in charge of establishing category strategies and leading sourcing activities in partnership with the regional Procurement team onsite.
Jupiter Bach Procurement sources different categories of raw materials such as resin, gelcoat, chemicals, foam and glass fibre for the composite production. Additional categories are steel parts, fasteners, electrical parts, consumables and accessories.
Your responsibilities will include further development of sourcing strategies, objectives and organization for the sourcing activities of raw materials like resin and gelcoats based on Jupiter Bach’s overall strategies. You will maintain the current structure of work, incl. follow-up on KPIs, project management, performance management etc.
Key success factors will among others be cost savings in agreed areas to meet overall Procurement target and Project Management to keep timelines and implementation on Procurement projects.
You may have a degree in chemistry, engineering, business administration, logistics, finance or a related discipline.
Proven professional experience in strategic global sourcing or procurement in combination with sourcing experience from manufacturers located in Eastern Europe and Asia.
Project Management certification will be considered an advantage.
You have the ability to lead and influence change in complex projects, strong relationship building with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You are capable of influencing and motivating others with new ideas and concepts, competent at thinking and acting strategically, championing change and generating innovative solutions.
Strong skills within project management, negotiation and communication (both oral and written) open, honest and trustworthy.
You are energetic and have a positive attitude and wish to work in an international environment with international requirements and work culture.
