International Business Margin Controlling
Jupiter Bach offers an interesting and versatile job in an international company with manufacturing sites on 3 continents. The business controller should provide transparency and control on margin development and forecasts. The main focus area will be to ensure a detailed control of product costing based on Group Bill of Materials (BOM) management in cooperation with production site management, engineering team and sales team.
You will be given responsibility from the start and will have the opportunity to gain a detailed insight into transparency and controlling of margins on all products in the Group. A revised approach to margin controlling is presently being built and you will take an active part in developing systems and processes as part of this project.
You will be working closely with your colleagues in the HQ team located in Køge and with the employees working at the manufacturing sites. You will report to the CFO and your responsibility will be to ensure a higher level of transparency on Group margins, reliable and up to date standard costs calculations, constructive and supportive cooperation with colleagues from all functions on product costing and margin development.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• reporting and controlling on the impact on selling prices, costs and margins from engineering change orders, cost-out initiatives and new project developments
• follow-up and transparency on price development
• monthly allocation of cost variances to budget standards per production site and product category
• monthly follow-up on actual cost input from sites
• budget and forecast processes on revenue and contribution margin
• Master Data Governance of BOM
Your place of work is at Jupiter Bach HQ in Køge. A limited number of travelling days should be expected.
You probably have 2-3 years of experience and are graduated with a degree within Economics or similar.
To succeed in the position, you must demonstrate that you are self-driven and have excellent analytical skills. You have a natural flair of overseeing large amounts of data. The right candidate will be able to drive the analysis processes and assist in identifying key areas of optimization.
You are structured and proactive and have the ability to work with a variety of different tasks. You are flexible, self-driven and willing to take responsibility and ownership and you thrive when working in an international and busy environment. ERP knowledge, super-user in Excel and fluent in English is expected. Experience from an international production company would be an advantage.
Besides you are an open, serviceminded and trustworthy person with a solid character, high ambitions and ability to work with a variety of tasks.
The job entails data mining and slicing from different ERP systems – therefore a high level of knowledge of Excel and data handling is key.
Finally you are able to adapt to international requirements and work culture and have a strong analytical mindset.
